The perforated sheets used in vibrating screens are normally obtained by punching, using normal carbon steel to quality steels (S 700 – wear-resistant steels) – 500 – Creusabro etc… Often the sheets are supplied curved for the manufacture of cylinders, if rotating screens have to be made.
The use of perforated sheets in the screening process improves productivity in many sectors: pharmaceutical – chemical – metallurgical – environmental treatment and for special crushing programmes as well as for control sieving (industrial sieves), vibrating sieves and the filtration of solids.
