Twilled Dutch weave cloths have coinciding weft wires, but the crossing of the wires takes place according to the “cross” system. In this case, compared to “Plain Dutch weave” cloths, with wire diameter being equal, a greater number of wires can be used, thus obtaining a greater density.
The “Twilled Dutch weave” type, like the “Plain Dutch weave”, is widely used in filters where strong operating pressures exist.
